May Day Morris Dancing

May Day is coming right up, Friday May 1st, and we invite you to join us to welcome in the May with dances and music by the Portland community of morris, sword, and garland dancers. We celebrate the sunup and return of the spring, beginning with the Abbots Bromley processional hornpipe at dawn and continuing with sequences of dances by local groups, with songs and the annual maypole for all. We look forward to seeing everyone again.

Dress warmly for the early morning.
